Shenzhen News Network, June 11, 2023 (Reporter: Zhang Junda) On June 9th, the Guangdong Kitchenware Association and the Shenzhen Commercial Kitchen Equipment Industry Association held their 2023 annual gala and the China Commercial Kitchen Equipment Industry High-Quality Development Forum with the theme "Embarking on a New Era of Prosperity and Creating New Brilliance." The event took place at the Shenzhen Yinhu Conference Center Hotel.

The years 2020 to 2022 were extraordinary, with the strong leadership and support of various levels of government in Guangdong Province and under the guidance of President Zhang Rentian, the Guangdong Kitchenware Association and the Shenzhen Commercial Kitchen Equipment Industry Association, along with the collective efforts of industry professionals, achieved stable and healthy development in the Guangdong kitchenware industry.

Guangdong is the leader in China's high-end kitchenware industry. In March, Zhang Rentian, representing the Guangdong Kitchenware Association and the Shenzhen Commercial Kitchen Equipment Industry Association, was invited to attend the "Marching into a New Journey, Moving Forward Together" 2023 Kitchenware Industry High-Quality Development Forum and Shandong Kitchenware Association Annual Gala. The 2023 annual meeting of the Guangdong-Shenzhen Culinary Association, held in Shenzhen, also invited Wang Bingsen, the president of the Shandong Kitchenware Association.

The event also invited senior professionals from various fields, including kitchen equipment manufacturing companies, engineering firms, design consulting companies, and central kitchen supply chains from all over the country. More than 600 people attended the event, including Zhuang Lixiang, President of the Shenzhen General Chamber of Commerce; Guo Jian, Deputy Secretary of the Shenzhen Social Organizations Administration Bureau; Chen Yuhao, County Mayor of Longmen County, Huizhou; Ouyang Huiding, Executive Deputy County Mayor; Zhang Hanquan, President of the China Hotel Supplies Association; Zhong Jianmin, Chairman of the Council of the National Kitchenware Industry Association; as well as presidents of kitchenware, hotel supplies, furniture, gold and jewelry associations, representatives from the restaurant and catering industry associations, mainstream media journalists from the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau.

During the forum, Yuan Xiaojiang, Secretary of the Party Committee of HSBC Business School at Peking University and expert professor in Shenzhen's Pilot Demonstration Zone, shared insights on "How Private Enterprises Grasp the Overall Situation and Seize Opportunities for Innovative Development" and "Opportunities and Paths for Innovative Development of Private Enterprises." The forum also invited several senior entrepreneurs from the industry to analyze the industry's rapid development towards digital transformation from multiple dimensions such as the market economy, to analyze the bottlenecks in industry development, and to move forward in the direction of industrial structural pattern development, laying the foundation and setting an example for the high-quality development of the kitchenware industry.

At the conference, the Guangdong Kitchenware Association and the Shenzhen Commercial Kitchen Equipment Industry Association recognized outstanding collective enterprises and proactive young individuals for the year 2022. They also held the inauguration oath ceremony for the second session of the Board of Directors, the Youth Committee, and the Design Committee.

In his speech at the thank-you banquet, Zhang Rentian expressed that at the starting point of a new era of prosperity, "kitchenware people" will ride the waves and move forward, contributing to the implementation of the Party Central Committee's directive on high-quality development, and composing a more beautiful new chapter for the kitchenware industry.
